I made this ridiculous mistake of upgrading from 16.0.b3 which was completely stable for me to final 16.1 and now I got issue one after another. Mostly with rendering and timeline rendering. First it started with slower performance compared to beta, then I had some artifacts on timeline and on rendered h264 video, so I decided to try newer drivers for my radeon 580 (previous were fine with beta). It kinda worked as no artifacts on h264 and way less on the timeline. Unfortunately I can't render h265 as it has some weird hiccups. Just to mention no such issues with beta.youtube.com/watch?v=2o6SF-YY5NoThe following was stated in the latest Resolve Studio release post:

- Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio 16 adds an all-new Cut page to its editing, color grading, Fusion VFX, and Fairlight audio post-production pages. Over the years, Resolve has been growing from an industry-standard color grading software to a more complete post-production solution.
Is the installation of CUDA 11 toolkit needed if one already has a recent Nvidia GPU (within 2 years) and the latest Nvidia 'Studio Driver?'
I tested rendering a 30 minute video project in Resolve 16.2.7 and found it worked very well.
What does installing the CUDA 11 toolkit enable?
Thank you.
